RadianceSkin & Hair Clinic

Laser hair removal

Laser hair removal reduces unwanted hair on the face and body by targeting the hair root. It is done under dermatologist supervision at Radiance, with settings chosen for your skin and hair type.

How it works

The laser light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair and damages the follicle, so hair grows back finer and sparser. Hair grows in cycles, so a series of sessions is needed, usually several weeks apart. The number of sessions depends on the area, hormones and hair thickness.

Before and after

Avoid waxing or plucking for a few weeks before treatment, and shave the area before your session. Avoid sun exposure and use sunscreen afterwards. A patch test and a short consultation come first.

Common areas

  • Upper lip, chin and full face
  • Underarms
  • Arms and legs
  • Chest, back and abdomen
  • Bikini area

Frequently asked questions

How many sessions will I need?

Most areas need a course of sessions. Your doctor will estimate after examining your skin and hair.

Is it painful?

Most people feel a quick snapping or warm sensation. Cooling on the skin makes it comfortable.

Is it safe for Indian skin?

Yes, when the right laser and settings are used by trained staff. This is why a doctor-supervised setup matters.

Can it be done in summer?

Yes, with strict sun protection. Avoid a fresh tan on the area.
